I. Press Fittings(F5), Jointing  Principles

Plypipe press fittings' structure is simple, as Pic. 1 shows, made up of a body of fitting, stainless steel sleeves and O-rings.

to joint press fittings, press tightly their stainless steel sleeves with Plypipe's patented clamp to Plypipe, when finished 3 compressed prints will show permanently on the stainless steel sleeves , see Pic. 2

Advantages of Plypipe's press fittings


a.  non-disassemble after jointed.  Especially suitable for permanent installation application.

b.  better sealing property, long joint life. Two inside piping O-rings give the jointing a longer working life.

c.  wide ranges of applications.  No matter the cold & hot water, gas applications, or shocks, vibrations, all of Plypipe's specifications from 1014 to 6075 tubes are suitable.

d.  compact structure and beautiful look. small quantity of fitting components, simple structure and easy installation; Pipe fittings is made from precisely forged brass.   

e.  use our special pressing clamp to joint Plypipe and press fittings.

II. Jointing Procedures

1.   Cutting. cut off Plypipe with our cutter.

2.   Rounding and beveling. Use our reamers to round Plypipe end-holes and make a pouring angle.

3.   Sleeving.  insert the fitting into a Plypipe already covered a stainless steel sleeve, please make sure pipe end reach  the shoulder of the fitting.

4.   Pressing. According to our detailed handling rules and regulations, install pressing clamp, put the jointed fitting onto the headgear of the clamp, manipulate the clamp to make its open jaws totally closed, then the jointing is finished.

5.  For electrical clamp: press the button to close the jaw; For hydraulic pressing clamp: Wave and press the clamp's handle from its head to its feet, to make its open jaws totally closed; For hand clamp: Like manipulating pliers.
